As a Georgia Tech alum residing in the Washington, D.C. area, you are aware of the value of a degree from Georgia Tech. If you have not already, please consider supporting Tech's standard of excellence with your tax-deductible donation to the Georgia Tech Foundation as part of the 65th Annual Roll Call. By donating you will also be helping GTDC, reach their goal of 876 donors this year.

Why should you give? All of the money raised is used for academic purposes including:

  • Scholarship programs to help recruit top young scholars
  • Development of new curricula to meet educational demands of a changing workplace
  • Recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty
  • State-of-the-art classroom facilities
  • Programs and services that benefit alumni

Accordingly, Roll Call donors are investing not only in the value of their own degree but also in that of the next generation of Yellow Jackets. Let's continue Georgia Tech's tradition of excellence!

Alexander Tharpe Fund

Georgia Tech's student-athletes have a long and proud history of bringing distinction to the Institute on the playing field, in the classroom, and in their careers. The Alexander-Tharpe Fund, Inc. was established as a way to ensure that this tradition can be extended far into the future. By investing in the fund, which exists as a means to support scholarships for Tech's student-athletes, you will help generate a number of dividends for Georgia Tech's student-athletes, the Institute as a whole, and the greater Atlanta community.

The primary purpose of the Alexander-Tharpe Fund, Inc. (A-T) is to raise the money necessary to pay for the scholarships of our student-athletes at Georgia Tech. Our goal at A-T is to raise enough money in unrestricted annual giving to cover the cost of the number of scholarships currently allowed by the NCAA. Georgia Tech is not currently funded at the NCAA maximum scholarship level.
